NIGHTFALL ON THE LAKE, is a beautifully crafted ambient take on rural soundscapes for solo guitar and piano.
The album is based around a field recording made in Scotland during the pandemic.
With stunning contributions from Tom Adams and Trifon K, the piece is reminiscent of Virginia Astley’s 'From Gardens Where We Feel Secure' and Steve Roach’s ambient work.
Originally released as a 27 minute track in the depths of the first lockdown, "Nightfall on the Lake: Sections" is the split up version for the modern listener.
